Postmedia has announced the release of Puzzmo, a new puzzle game platform. It is developed by award-winning game developers Zach Gage and Orta Therox. Puzzmo made its debut in Hearst Newspapers’ online publications across Canada as part of a partnership with Postmedia. Postmedia has become the only Canadian distributor and destination for the hugely popular collection of online puzzle games and games with this new partnership and launch.
Puzzmo was created approximately three years ago by Zach Gage and Orta Therox. After purchasing it in December of last year, Hearst immediately began distributing it to readers of over 50 of its brands, including Popular Mechanics and the San Francisco Chronicle. Canadian readers will be able to access Puzzmo games for free. Additionally, users with paid subscriptions will be able to access more games in an ad-free setting. Postmedia is offering a special promotional price to its online subscribers. However, the subscription is not available in Quebec.
With beloved favorites like SpellTower, Typeshift, and Really Bad Chess alongside more recent options like Flipart and Cross|word, Puzzmo offers daily puzzle and crossword updates along with three months of new game releases. Canadians will be able to play Puzzmo games for free. Postmedia has introduced an intriguing new daily puzzle gaming experience with the launch of Puzzmo. In addition to continuing to invest in and provide Canadians with a comprehensive news and information experience, Postmedia is dedicated to growing the range of goods and services that are accessible to the public.
