Ogilvy has appointed Parul Budhiraja as Executive Vice President, adding an experienced brand strategy and marketing professional to its leadership team.
Budhiraja brings more than 19 years of experience spanning brand strategy, marketing and communications. Before joining Ogilvy, she worked as a fractional CMO and strategic consultant between April 2024 and September 2026, advising startups and small and medium-sized businesses on brand building, marketing and growth. During the same period, she also served as principal strategist at Branduits.
Prior to her consulting career, Budhiraja was General Manager at Cheil India, where she worked from November 2021 to August 2024. At Cheil, she was involved in developing a live commerce blueprint and strategic planning for Samsung’s premium smartphone portfolio, covering go-to-market and channel strategy, partnerships and creator programmes.
Budhiraja previously spent nearly six years at Contract India as Vice President. Her portfolio included brands such as Bata and Droom, where she worked on brand rejuvenation initiatives, campaign planning and product launches.
Her earlier career includes brand marketing roles at Snapdeal, along with strategy positions at Mudra Communications, Grey Group, Draftfcb Ulka and Leo Burnett.
At Mudra Communications, Budhiraja worked on brands including Livon and Wrigley’s. During her tenure at Grey Group, she handled regional planning for Allianz across five Asian markets.
In her new position at Ogilvy, Budhiraja will draw on her experience across brand strategy, marketing and communications as she takes on her responsibilities at the agency.
