Abby Awards 2024 Announces Pallavi Chakravarti, Raj Kamble, Mayuri Nikumbh as Jury Chairs
The Abby Awards 2024 powered by One Show have selected Pallavi Chakravarti, the founder and CCO of Fundamental; Raj Kamble, the founder and CCO of Famous Innovations; and Mayuri Nikumbh, the head of design at Conran Design, to serve as jury chairs for the categories of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion, Out of Home and Ambient category, and Design, respectively.
Pallavi Chakravarti – Jury Chair for Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Category
Pallavi Chakravarti, the founder and CCO of Fundamental, has been named jury chair of the Abby Awards 2024 powered by One Show in the Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion category. Chakravarti, who has been in the creative industry for 20 years, turned independent in 2023. In less than a year, her agency Fundamental has produced work for Airtel, Adidas, WhatsApp, Facebook, Parle Products, Marico, and more. She has previously worked for Instagram, McDonald’s, Pepsi, Uber, J&J, Unilever, P&G, and local behemoths like Times of India, ITC, and Star Sports. She has also held positions at Saatchi, Grey, JWT, Taproot Dentsu, and DDB Mudra.

Pallavi was listed in the Drum World Creative Rankings’ 2021 list of the 200 most-awarded ECDs, and more locally, she was included in Indian Television Dot Com’s Wonder Women 100, a list honoring trailblazers in the creative arts, for the 2022 edition. Her work has received recognition worldwide, from shows like the Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, Adfest Asia Pacific, Spikes Asia, Kyoorius, and The Abbys to effectiveness awards like the Effies and Appies. Pallavi, who has won hundreds of medals, was also honored with the Best Ad Screenplay plaque at the esteemed 2015 Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival.
Pallavi has served on numerous juries throughout the years, including those for the Film, Outdoor, Direct, Radio, and Integrated Advertising categories at the Cannes Lions, Dubai Lynx, New York Festival, Global Awards, Gerety Awards, Kyoorius Awards, and the Abbys. Through various industry initiatives, she also serves as a mentor for young talent. Her passions are psychology, theater, and music, which she enjoys doing outside of work.
Raj Kamble – Jury Chair for Out of Home and Ambient Category
Raj Kamble, founder and CCO of Famous Innovations, has been named juror chair of the Abby Awards 2024 powered by One Show in the Out of Home and Ambient category. Kamble is a Sir JJ School of Arts gold medallist in both design and art. Throughout the course of his 25-year career, he has worked for Lowe India, Lowe London, Lowe New York, BBDO New York, and BBH India before returning to Mumbai as managing partner. His work has produced both commercial and critical success for companies like Google, Stella Artois, Unilever, Nestle, P&G, Saab, Diageo, Vaseline, and Burger King over this time.
He established Famous Innovations, an independent creative agency, in 2013. In addition to winning Digital Agency of the Year, Design Agency of the Year, and Green Agency of the Year, he is the nine-time winner of South Asia Independent Agency of the Year.

Mayuri Nikumbh – Jury Chair for Design Category
Mayuri Nikumbh, head of design at Conran Design, has been named jury chair of the Abby Awards 2024 powered by One Show in the Design category. She has led award-winning projects and contributed to the success of well-known brands as well as startups. Mayuri firmly believes that design has the ability to tell genuine stories that can transform businesses and affect consumer behavior. She assisted in starting Conran Design Mumbai in the midst of the worldwide pandemic, and she currently serves as its creative director. In just three years since its founding, Nikumbh has aided in the creation of prestigious companies and the winning of IDA Awards, Transform Asia, and Campaign Agency of the Year.
Impact magazine has selected Mayuri as one of India’s 40 under Forty creative industry go-getters. Additionally, she represented India in the collaborative Asia-wide project “Colours of Asia,” which resulted in a one-of-a-kind exhibition at the Hong Kong Design Institute and the subsequent win of the Design for Asia Award.
Mayuri, a prominent advocate for design, has served on the juries for major regional festivals, the Kyoorius Design Awards, and Spikes Asia Awards, among many other recognitions. This year, she’ll be in Cannes as a member of the Design Lions jury. Mayuri wholeheartedly supports the approach of aiming for the sweet spot of clients’ and customers’ needs in terms of problem-solving.
