Apple has promoted Vinod Mohan to Senior Director, marking another milestone in his long-standing association with the technology company.
Mohan shared news of the elevation through a LinkedIn post, following his progression through several leadership positions across Apple’s global supply management and manufacturing design functions.
He joined Apple in August 2018 as Global Supply Manager, Mechanical Enclosures (Portables). Since then, he has taken on a series of increasingly senior responsibilities, including Manager, Global Supply Management, Enclosure Operations – MacBook Air; Manager, Global Supply Management, Manufacturing Design; Senior Manager, Manufacturing Design; and Director of Operations, Global Supply Management.
Since January 2023, Mohan has served as Director, Manufacturing Design, India, a position he held for nearly four years before moving into his latest Senior Director role.
Prior to Apple, Mohan spent almost six years at Emerson & Cuming (ICI), where he served as Manager – Applications Technology Group from August 2002 to July 2008. During his tenure, he worked on product development initiatives focused on anticipating the needs of customers in the consumer electronics sector. He progressed through multiple positions, including Engineer, Senior Engineer and Project Leader.
Mohan started his professional journey with FIAT Group in September 1997. During his nearly three-year tenure, he was selected for FIAT’s international programme to lead the company’s new businesses in India from a large pool of applicants.
