PubMatic, a leading independent technology company shaping the future of digital advertising’s supply chain, has announced key leadership appointments to strengthen its presence in the rapidly growing connected TV (CTV) market. As highlighted in its latest earnings call, PubMatic’s CTV revenue more than doubled in Q4 2024, now accounting for 20% of total revenue, with the EMEA region emerging as its fastest-growing market for CTV.
To enhance its expertise in the broadcast and streaming space, PubMatic has appointed Kavita Veeramah Collins as Senior Director of Advertiser Solutions, CTV, and Silvia Gorra as Senior Marketing Director, EMEA. These appointments reflect the company’s commitment to digital-first strategies, as brands increasingly shift from traditional linear advertising to targeted, data-driven CTV solutions.
Veeramah Collins brings deep experience in broadcaster sales, having held key roles at ITV, London Live, and Sony Pictures Television Networks. In her new role, she will support advertisers in adopting a CTV-first approach, fostering strategic relationships with buy-side stakeholders, and ensuring publishers maximize revenue through PubMatic’s advanced solutions.
Veeramah Collins said,
“As more advertisers shift budgets to CTV, PubMatic is uniquely positioned to help both publishers and buyers navigate this transition thanks to our technology suite, our supply path optimisation relationships, and our legacy of helping premium content owners maximise revenue. I’m excited to be part of this journey and to help accelerate PubMatic’s impact in this rapidly evolving space.”
PubMatic has introduced a suite of innovative solutions designed to help streamers and advertisers harness programmatic technology for improved business outcomes. The newly launched CTV Marketplace enables real-time curation of premium streaming inventory, allowing buyers to target specific inventory categories such as Gen Z audiences or live sports, while also providing CTV publishers with access to incremental demand.
Further strengthening its offering, PubMatic is expanding partnerships with leading commerce media companies, including Instacart and Retailor Media, seamlessly integrating valuable shopper data signals into CTV advertising strategies to enhance campaign impact.
As part of PubMatic’s broader strategy to accelerate growth in CTV, commerce, mobile, and buyer-focused business lines, Silvia Gorra will lead the company’s marketing strategy across EMEA, reinforcing brand positioning and market influence. With over 20 years of experience in ad tech marketing, she previously served as VP of Marketing at VidMob and VP of International Marketing at Magnite, bringing a wealth of expertise to her new role.
Emma Newman, chief revenue officer, EMEA at PubMatic said,
“We’re delighted to welcome both Kavita and Silvia to PubMatic. Their backgrounds in broadcasting and CTV and deep relationships across the industry are critical to our growth in this rapidly evolving sector,” “PubMatic’s CTV business has shown strong growth, particularly over the past year, and both Kavita and Silvia will be invaluable to us as we continue this momentum and help linear TV buyers transition to a CTV-first strategy.”
The appointments of Veeramah Collins and Gorra underscore PubMatic’s commitment to industry-leading expertise. As the company continues its strong growth momentum, these leadership additions will play a key role in driving innovation and success for advertisers and publishers across EMEA. With CTV expanding rapidly, PubMatic plans to announce additional senior hires soon to further support its growth in the sector.
