Lakshmi Iyer Joins Bajaj Finserv As Group President – Investments

Bajaj Finserv has onboarded  Lakshmi Iyer as Group President – Investments, effective August 1. With nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, Iyer steps into the role with a strong legacy of leadership across wealth advisory, fixed income, real estate, and alternative assets.

Her move marks a significant milestone in Bajaj Finserv’s continued mission to scale and strengthen its investment ecosystem. Iyer’s previous stint at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where she spent close to two decades, saw her leading from the front as CEO – Investments and Strategy. Her tenure there was defined by innovative investment solutions and strategic foresight in asset management.

A respected voice in the financial industry, Iyer was named among Asia’s 25 most influential women in asset management by Asian Investor. She is an alumnus of NMIMS, where she completed her MBA in Finance.

Her new role at Bajaj Finserv will be pivotal as the group doubles down on long-term value creation, leveraging Iyer’s forward-looking approach and deep-rooted industry insights to steer investment strategies across its verticals.
