boAt has elevated Vedansh Kumar to the position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), reinforcing its leadership team as the brand continues to expand its presence in the consumer electronics market.
The promotion, announced on June 5, 2026, reflects Kumar’s growing role within the company and his contributions to strengthening boAt’s brand and product marketing initiatives. Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Kumar described the appointment as both humbling and energising, expressing gratitude to the company’s leadership and colleagues for their continued trust and support.
Kumar joined boAt in August 2023 as Head of Brand Marketing after serving as Creative Lead at Zomato. Since joining the company, he has progressively taken on broader responsibilities across brand and product marketing, playing a key role in developing campaigns, enhancing consumer engagement, and shaping the brand’s market presence.
With over a decade of experience in advertising, branding, and marketing, Kumar has worked with several leading agencies throughout his career, including Publicis Groupe, Dentsu Creative, and MullenLowe Lintas Group. His portfolio includes campaigns for globally recognized brands such as Google, Paytm, Vivo, Absolut Vodka, and Jameson Irish Whiskey.
Prior to his elevation, Kumar held the position of Head of Brand & Product Marketing at boAt, where he led initiatives focused on youth-centric branding, product storytelling, and consumer engagement. He has consistently emphasized the importance of building culturally relevant brands by combining creativity, agility, and data-driven insights.
As CMO, Kumar is expected to further strengthen boAt’s marketing strategy, drive deeper consumer connections, and support the company’s continued growth in an increasingly competitive consumer technology landscape.
