Bengaluru, 03rd November, 2026: Porter, a leading digital goods transportation platform in India, has strengthened its leadership team as it prepares for its next phase of growth. The company has appointed Gaurav Jain as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and promoted two senior executives, Shubham Gupta to Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Mohit Rathi to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). The leadership changes aim to support Porter’s vision of formalising goods transportation in India and expanding its impact on MSMEs and driver-partners.
Gaurav Jain joins Porter from Amazon, where he spent over a decade. He brings more than 20 years of experience in finance and strategy leadership across e-commerce, financial services and FMCG. As CFO, he will guide the company’s financial strategy as it scales.
Shubham Gupta joined Porter in 2015 and has led engineering through years of rapid expansion. His focus has been on speed, cost, security and scalability, including modernising the core technology stack, making infrastructure access self-service, strengthening the company’s security posture, optimising technology costs and adopting AI. As CTO, he will lead technology across Porter and its newer businesses.
Mohit Rathi, who has been with Porter for over a decade, has played a central role in the company’s growth. He started as an Expansion Manager, launched operations in Hyderabad and Chennai, and has led Customer Growth & Engagement as Vice President since 2023. His work has included building deeper customer insights, reimagining the rewards programme for customers, strengthening customer retention, scaling Porter Enterprise and sharpening the go-to-market approach for newer services. As CMO, he will lead the company’s marketing and growth efforts.
