AGL-Hakuhodo Integrates ChatGPT Ads into its Digital Paid Media Strategy

Published on: September 29, 2026

Gurugram, 29th September, 2026: AGL-Hakuhodo (AdGlobal360), India’s leading growth-engineering company and a member of Hakuhodo International, today announced the integration of ChatGPT Ads into its digital paid media strategy, marking one of its most significant steps yet in building for an AI-mediated advertising landscape.

The move augments traditional keyword-matched advertising with conversational intent matching. Through OpenAI’s Ads Manager, campaigns are structured around real-time user context and prompts, allowing brands to engage consumers in the moments they are actively seeking solutions or comparing options. AGL-Hakuhodo is rolling out pilot campaigns across select enterprise clients to direct a portion of experimental budgets toward OpenAI Ads, and will scale spend dynamically as inventory expands and conversion benchmarks are established.

In its initial phase, the company will focus on five high-consideration sectors: automotive, education, real estate, CPG, and BFSI, where purchase journeys are increasingly influenced by conversational discovery.

For brands, the shift is fundamental: advertising inside ChatGPT changes how they engage consumers during active decision-making. Richer intent signals, combined with high-relevance and low-friction placements, drive qualified conversion traffic because users arrive already seeking solutions or comparing alternatives, rather than passively browsing.

The format also keeps paid placements distinct from ChatGPT’s organic responses, and campaigns run without advertisers accessing individual conversations or personal data, so brand presence never comes at the cost of user trust.

Commenting on the move, Rakesh Yadav, Founder & CEO at AGL-Hakuhodo, said, “We see conversational advertising as a discipline to build from the ground up. For our clients, that means two commitments: mapping real conversational context to genuinely useful, high-converting experiences, and tying every campaign back to their own first-party data, so incrementality and return are clear from the outset. We aim to set the benchmark for Generative Engine Marketing in India, and to ensure the spend that moves here is measured and accountable.”

With this integration, AGL-Hakuhodo aims to establish the standard for Generative Engine Marketing (GEM) and conversational ad strategy in the market. Its near-term objectives include developing proprietary Intent Frameworks, customised prompt-mapping methodologies that connect the full arc of conversational intent to hyper-relevant, high-converting landing experiences, and standardising full-funnel attribution by integrating OpenAI’s Pixel and Conversions API with clients’ first-party tracking (GA4 and MMM) to establish clear incrementality and blended ROAS models.

The integration reflects AGL-Hakuhodo’s wider belief, rooted in Hakuhodo’s Sei-Katsu-Sha philosophy of understanding people as whole individuals, that the most effective marketing meets consumers with relevance and usefulness at the exact point of need, increasingly inside the AI-driven experiences where discovery now begins.
