Dentsu has appointed Michelle Testa as Managing Director of its Western Australia business, marking a new leadership chapter following more than 14 years with the company.

Testa brings extensive experience in client leadership, commercial growth and industry engagement to the role. She has worked with major government, commercial and global brands, including Cash Converters, with whom she has built a decade-long relationship, as well as West Coast Eagles, Revo Fitness and Murdoch University.

Her contribution to the Western Australian industry was recently recognised with her being named WA Ad Person of the Year.

Beyond her client and business responsibilities, Testa has maintained a strong focus on social impact and inclusion. She has served on the Oasis Committee for more than 10 years, including three years as chairperson, helping develop the Oasis Ball into a platform that highlights the experiences of vulnerable young people and supports social impact initiatives.

She also co-chairs dentsu’s Women in the Workplace DEI Council and contributes to the development of emerging industry talent through the Youngbloods WA Paddle Program, where she serves as a mentor.

As Managing Director, Testa will oversee dentsu’s integrated offering across Western Australia, with a focus on strengthening client growth while continuing to build the organisation’s culture and capabilities across the state.

“Western Australia is a market built on relationships, resilience and an incredible sense of community, and I’m proud to have spent the past 14 years building my career alongside our people, clients and industry partners here,” Testa said.

“I’m honoured to step into the role of managing director and excited about what lies ahead. We have an exceptional team, strong client partnerships and a business that is uniquely positioned to help brands navigate a rapidly changing landscape.”

Chris Ernst, Chief Practice Officer, Media, dentsu ANZ, said Testa was one of the most respected and admired leaders in the business and across the WA market.

“Over more than 14 years at dentsu she has made an extraordinary impact, not only through the strength of her client relationships and commercial leadership, but through the culture she has helped build and the example she sets every day,” Ernst said.

Testa’s appointment strengthens dentsu’s leadership in Western Australia as the agency continues to focus on integrated capabilities, client partnerships and a strong workplace culture in the market.
