Colgate-Palmolive India has announced a leadership transition, with Prabha Narasimhan set to take on the role of Executive Vice President, Marketing, Asia-Pacific Division, Colgate-Palmolive, effective close of business on September 27, 2026.
Narasimhan’s new appointment follows a four-year tenure as Managing Director and CEO of Colgate-Palmolive India, during which she helped steer the business through a period of growth and transformation.
Her leadership agenda included strengthening the company’s premium portfolio, accelerating digital transformation, expanding its presence in quick commerce and driving consumer-focused innovation. She also played a role in initiatives aimed at increasing awareness and adoption of oral hygiene practices across both urban and rural markets.
With prior leadership experience at Hindustan Unilever, including serving as Executive Director for Home Care, Narasimhan brings extensive experience across categories and markets to her new Asia-Pacific responsibilities.
As part of the leadership transition, Manish Anandani has been appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Colgate-Palmolive India, effective September 28, 2026.
Anandani joins the company from Kenvue, where he served as Managing Director for India and South Asia. He brings three decades of experience spanning sales, marketing, general management and senior leadership positions.
His career also includes a 13-year stint with Colgate-Palmolive from 2005 to 2018, during which he held leadership positions across India, Indochina and the company’s corporate office.
The leadership changes mark a new phase for Colgate-Palmolive India, while bringing together Narasimhan’s regional marketing expertise and Anandani’s extensive experience across the company and wider consumer goods industry.
