Britannia Industries has named Chitwan Singh as Chief Business Officer – International Business, with his appointment set to take effect from 15 June 2026. The decision was approved by the company’s Board of Directors, according to a regulatory filing.
Singh joins the leadership role with more than 25 years of experience in the FMCG industry, having worked across markets including India, Africa, and the United States. Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership positions at companies such as Godrej Consumer Products and Olam Group.
This appointment also marks Singh’s return to Britannia Industries, where he previously spent over ten years in various sales and marketing leadership roles.
At Godrej Consumer Products, he held multiple CEO-level positions, including CEO and Managing Director – North America & Nigeria, as well as CEO – West Africa. Before that, he led the Packaged Foods Business at Olam International for the South Africa and Ghana Cluster in West Africa.
In a separate leadership update, Britannia Industries also elevated Rahul Mahajan to Vice President – Sales from his previous role as National Sales Head – General Trade. His promotion came into effect on 1 April 2026.
Mahajan has been with Britannia for more than three years and brings over two decades of experience across sales, distribution, and channel management in the FMCG sector. Prior to joining Britannia, he worked with organisations including Marico Limited, L’Oréal India, Mondelez International, Bharti Airtel Limited, Bharti Teletech Limited, and JSW Dulux Limited, formerly known as Akzo Nobel India Limited.
