Arjun Kalra has taken on the role of Head of Marketing for India & South Asia at Uber.
In this position, Kalra will lead the company’s marketing strategy and execution across the region, with a strong focus on brand building, customer engagement, and driving growth. He will also be part of the APAC Marketing as well as India & South Asia leadership teams.
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Kalra said: “Excited to share my new ride. Last month, I stepped into a new role leading Marketing for Uber in India & South Asia. Uber isn’t just an app – it’s how our cities move, every single day… chaotic, dynamic, unpredictable, and full of opportunity. I’ll be working with teams across India and globally to build one of the most trusted and loved mobility brands in the region.”
Kalra brings extensive experience across brand, digital, and growth marketing, having worked with several leading consumer and technology-driven organisations.
Before joining Uber, he spent seven years at Apple. His professional journey also includes roles at AB InBev India & Southeast Asia, Yum! Brands, AkzoNobel Decorative Coatings, and Tata Consultancy Services.
