Zee TV has announced the appointment of Shaurya Sharma as Vice President and Head of Marketing, marking a significant addition to the channel’s leadership team. Sharma brings with him over 13 years of diverse experience across media and alcobev sectors.
Prior to joining Zee TV, Sharma was with Sun TV Network, where he served as Cluster Marketing Head for Sun Neo, Sun Marathi, and Sun Bangla. He played a key role in shaping the marketing strategies for the newly launched channels, especially Sun Neo, during his tenure.
Sharma also spent nearly six years at Disney Star, where he held various strategic roles, including Content and Digital Marketing Lead. He exited the organization in May 2022, having contributed significantly to its digital transformation and audience engagement initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Sharma was associated with Pernod Ricard, gaining exposure in the alcobev industry before transitioning fully into media and entertainment.
With this move, Sharma joins Zee TV at a pivotal time, as the brand continues to strengthen its market presence through data-led storytelling, digital outreach, and content innovation. His expertise is expected to drive Zee TV’s marketing efforts across platforms and deepen its connection with diverse viewer segments.
