Publicis Groupe Malaysia has announced the appointment of Amit Sutha as its new Chief Executive Officer. With over 13 years of leadership experience in the Malaysian market, Amit takes on this significant role with a vision to further elevate the agency’s operations and drive client impact across various sectors, including creative, media, influence, production, commerce, data, and technology.
Amit, who previously served as President and Global Chief Client Officer at McCann Worldgroup in New York, brings an extensive background in creative, media, and performance-driven marketing. He also held leadership roles at Mediabrands Content Studio, Universal McCann, Ensemble Worldwide, and Proximity, further strengthening his capabilities in driving multi-disciplinary client strategies.
In his new role, Amit will oversee Publicis Groupe’s operations in Malaysia, aiming to build on the success of the Groupe’s Southeast Asia operations. He will report directly to Amrita Randhawa, CEO at Publicis Groupe Singapore & Southeast Asia. Together, they plan to continue advancing the agency’s growth trajectory and deepening client relationships in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
Speaking on his appointment, Amit said,
