Rafi Q Khan and Rohan Srinivasan, both veterans of the public relations industry, have announced the launch of Compass Communications, an independent communication consulting firm.
Khan has worked in communications and public relations for more than 20 years. Most recently, he was the head of client services and new business at FleishmanHillard India, a division of the Omnicom Group. In addition to being the CEO of Cohn & Wolfe, a division of BCW, when the agency first entered India, he has also held a number of leadership positions at Image Inc., Archetype, and Weber Shandwick. Additionally, he oversaw communications for an infrastructure development company. Khan holds certifications as a trainer and crisis manager.
With more than 24 years of expertise in integrated marketing, reputation management, and public relations, Srinivasan has held executive positions in media, corporate, and agency settings in the UK, the subcontinent, and both. Previously, he was South Head at Madison PR and Managing Director of Ketchum Sampark. In addition, he led the independent UK agency Eulogy’s market debut and served as Head of Marketing and Communications for the digital signage company Vyoma.

Compass Communications, a full-service firm with its headquarters in Delhi NCR, offers clients looking for senior counsel end-to-end services as well as training. There are currently fewer than a dozen consultants on the Compass team, and the organization collaborates with affiliates all over the nation.
Announcing the launch, Khan said,
