WPP Media has rolled out a major structural overhaul across Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (APMEA), introducing a regional model aimed at streamlining operations and driving performance across high-growth markets. As part of this revamp, Prasanth Kumar will now oversee operations in India and Sri Lanka.
The reorganisation brings in a new AI-powered operating model to enhance agility and collaboration across regions. Under the updated leadership lineup, Aimee Buchanan will lead Australia & New Zealand, Rupert McPetrie will head China, Amer El Hajj takes charge of MENA, Michael Beecroft will handle Northeast Asia, and Helen McRae will serve as CEO of SEAPAT.
Additionally, Sindhuja Rai has been appointed Chief Client Officer, APMEA, while Josh Gallagher takes over as Chief Strategy and Growth Officer.
In a significant operational change, Nexus and Investment have been integrated into a unified Media Management and Delivery (MMD) unit. This vertical will be co-led by Anita Munro for Media Management and Arshan Saha for Media Delivery.
The new model marks WPP’s commitment to simplifying structures and accelerating innovation across diverse and evolving markets.
