Uber Advertising Appoints Tyler Greer to Lead Creative Strategy Across ANZ

Published on: August 17, 2026

Uber Advertising has appointed Tyler Greer as Manager, ANZ Creative Strategy, coinciding with the launch of its global Creative Studio in Australia and New Zealand.

In the newly established position, Greer will focus on developing Uber Advertising’s branded content and experiential capabilities across the region. He will work with agencies and advertisers to create customised campaigns that extend beyond conventional in-app advertising formats.

Greer will report to Uber Advertising’s global Creative Studio leadership team in the US while partnering closely with local sales teams to strengthen the studio’s positioning and offering in the ANZ market.

He joins Uber from Wesfarmers OneDigital, where he served as Head of Sales Strategy and Enablement. His previous experience also includes roles at News Corp and Mediacom, giving him experience across both media-owner and agency environments.

Uber’s Creative Studio is positioned as a premium, invite-only offering for the company’s largest advertising partners. The capability enables brands to develop bespoke activations and experiential campaigns that leverage Uber’s mobility and delivery ecosystem.

The Creative Studio was initially introduced in the US, with Uber subsequently announcing plans to expand the offering into markets including Brazil and Australia.

Sharing news of his appointment on LinkedIn, Greer said he was “absolutely stoked to be starting the role”.

The appointment comes as Uber Advertising continues to expand its presence in Australia. Launched in the country in 2022, the Australian operation was Uber’s first advertising sales business outside the US and is led by Michael Levine, Head of Uber Advertising APAC.

In his new role, Greer will work to translate growing advertiser interest into tailored brand experiences, helping position Uber as a platform for integrated creative and experiential campaigns rather than simply an advertising media channel.
