Truecaller has announced the appointment of Sandeep Bhushan to its Board of Directors, bringing on board a seasoned business leader with more than two decades of experience across technology, media and consumer-focused industries.
Prior to joining Truecaller’s board, Bhushan held the role of India Director of Global Marketing Solutions at Meta. Throughout his career, he has also worked in senior leadership positions at Samsung and Mint. At Samsung, he oversaw marketing and operator partnerships for the smartphone business, while at Mint, he was part of the founding leadership team and served as COO. Earlier in his career, he spent over 10 years at Unilever in various leadership capacities.
Commenting on his appointment, Bhushan said that Truecaller has created a strong global platform where trust and monetisation need to grow together. He added that maintaining this balance is becoming increasingly important as digital ecosystems expand, and he looks forward to supporting the company’s next stage of growth.
Nami Zarringhalam, Co-founder of Truecaller, said Bhushan’s expertise in scaling consumer businesses and driving monetisation across global platforms would bring valuable strategic insight to the company. He also noted Bhushan’s strong understanding of high-growth markets including India and the wider APAC region.
In addition to this appointment, Bhushan also serves on the board of Traya Health. Truecaller confirmed that he will serve as an independent board member and currently does not hold shares in the company.
