National, April 2026: Tempest Advertising, a leading integrated communications agency with a strong multi-city presence, has announced the appointment of Aparna Nawathe as Vice President & Branch Head, Mumbai. This move marks a significant step in the agency’s continued national expansion and deepens engagement with India’s largest business hub.
The Mumbai office represents a strategic evolution for Tempest by bringing its proven expertise in building brands through powerful, insight-led communication to a market that demands both scale and sophistication.
In her new role, Aparna will lead Tempest’s Mumbai operations, focusing on building strategic partnerships with brands and solving complex business challenges through communication. Her mandate will include driving growth, strengthening client relationships, and delivering integrated, high-impact communication solutions.
With close to two decades of experience across brand strategy, integrated communication, corporate storytelling & transformation initiatives, Aparna brings a strong cross-disciplinary perspective. She has worked for marquee brands such as Unilever, Godrej, and Dabur, led brand marketing at Shoppers Stop, Femina and Lavasa. She has worked closely with institutions and industry bodies, including the Ministry of Textiles, Cotton Association of India, Tata Trusts, Saint-Gobain, among others.
