The Trade Desk has promoted Tejinder Gill to Vice President for Southeast Asia and India, broadening his leadership remit beyond his previous role as Managing Director for India. Now based in Singapore, Gill will oversee the company’s growth strategy across two of Asia’s fastest-evolving digital advertising markets.

Gill has been instrumental in establishing and scaling The Trade Desk’s presence in India over the past few years. During his tenure as General Manager and later Managing Director, he led market expansion efforts, strengthened partnerships with advertisers and agencies, and drove the adoption of programmatic advertising solutions. His leadership has significantly contributed to the company’s positioning within India’s competitive adtech landscape.

With over 15 years of experience in digital media and advertising, Gill brings deep expertise in business scaling and revenue growth. Prior to joining The Trade Desk, he held senior leadership roles at Truecaller, where he played a key role in expanding its global advertising business across South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. His earlier career includes leadership positions at LinkedIn, Yahoo, and The Times of India, focusing on digital sales and marketing solutions.

This elevation aligns with The Trade Desk’s broader strategy to strengthen its footprint across Asia Pacific, with India and Southeast Asia identified as key growth markets in the global programmatic advertising ecosystem. In his expanded role, Gill will focus on aligning regional strategies with evolving advertiser demands and accelerating growth across these high-potential markets.
