National, October 27, 2026: TagMango, a Y Combinator-backed creator monetisation platform, today announced the launch of Backstage Pass in partnership with ClickFunnels, a sales-funnel platform whose users have generated more than $11 billion in sales. TagMango works with 10,000+ creators and has reached more than 15 million users, while ClickFunnels has a community of more than 150,000 customers and 3,500+ Two Comma Club entrepreneurs. Backstage Pass was unveiled at Funnel Hacking Live in Las Vegas, with the US as its initial market, followed by India.
Backstage Pass is built around a simple shift: creators need a space where they can engage their audiences without relying on social algorithms. As platforms move from follower-led feeds to interest-based discovery, a follow no longer guarantees reach. At the same time, AI is making pre-recorded content cheaper and easier to produce. Backstage Pass puts live interaction at the centre, giving creators a direct path from social reach to an audience they can engage and monetise. Creators can go live across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and other connected platforms for the first 15 minutes, with followers notified through push, email and SMS, before bringing the audience backstage to continue the session. Every session is saved as an Encore, with the original chat and reactions intact, while AI identifies key moments and creates short-form clips for social media. Creators can also monetise through Passes, offering subscription or one-time access to lives and communities, and Drops, which enable limited-time, limited-quantity live social commerce.
TagMango and ClickFunnels bring complementary product and distribution strengths to Backstage Pass. TagMango will lead expansion across the Indian subcontinent, while ClickFunnels will drive growth across the US and international markets. The two companies will also bring learnings from their respective product journeys to shape the platform’s roadmap and creator experience. Russell Brunson is the co-founder of ClickFunnels, the founder of Funnel Hacking Live, and the author of three bestselling books on funnels and online business.
Divyanshu Damani, Co-founder, TagMango and Backstage Pass, said, “Creators spend years building audiences, but they don’t control how they reach them. As more of what people watch becomes AI-generated, showing up live is what will separate a real community from an audience. Backstage Pass gives creators a space the algorithm can’t control and helps them get more from every session they run. Bringing TagMango and ClickFunnels together gives us a strong India-US foundation to build for creators globally.”
Russell Brunson, Co-founder, ClickFunnels and Backstage Pass, said, “The next phase of the creator economy is about ownership. Creators should control the audiences and businesses they build. Backstage Pass applies that principle to the way creators engage with audiences today. By combining live experiences, audience ownership and AI, we are giving creators a more powerful way to turn attention into lasting relationships and businesses.”
In its first six months, Backstage Pass aims to bring 1,000+ creators onto the platform across India and the US, while deepening its use of AI to improve audience ownership and monetisation. The platform operates on a monthly subscription model. Together, TagMango and ClickFunnels aim to build Backstage Pass as a layer between social platforms and creator-owned audiences, helping creators build and monetise direct relationships with their communities.
