Avinash Pandey Departs from ABP Network
ABP Network CEO Avinash Pandey is leaving the organization after almost 20 years of productive collaboration.
Pandey began working for ABP Network in 2005 and over the years held significant roles that helped establish the company as one of the most prosperous and well-respected broadcasters in the country. Following Pandey’s appointment as CEO of ABP Network in January 2019, the company expanded into previously unexplored verticals and digital and broadcast markets. With an emphasis on producing first-rate content to meet the expectations of a picky audience across India, Pandey had the vision to see the potential of going regional and digital.
Taking ABP Network to glorious heights
As the CEO of ABP Network, Mr. Pandey oversaw the top television and digital network in India, which included four TV channels that were available on cable and satellite around the clock, served in eight different languages online, and watched by more than 500 million people. As the founding director of ABP Studios, he has created TV shows and movies that have won awards. At present, Pandey holds the position of President of the India Chapter of the International Advertising Association.

Jacqui Lim Appointed as Chief Commercial Officer at Mediacorp
Mediacorp, a Singapore-based broadcaster, has appointed Jacqui Lim as Chief Commercial Officer, intending to increase revenue and open up new business opportunities. The appointment takes effect on June 3. In her new role, she will play a key role in creating a plan for increasing revenue streams and creating a business plan that complements Mediacorp’s ongoing efforts to innovate and improve the services it provides to advertisers and viewers. To deliver focused solutions across Mediacorp’s extensive range of IPs and platforms, she will work with business units and partners to lead the commercial group in revenue generation and client engagement.
Jacqui Lim named as chief commercial officer at Mediacorp
Lim brings a wealth of knowledge from the media and advertising industries to Mediacorp. For the majority of her twenty-year career, she has worked for prestigious media agency networks like Omnicom Media Group, Publicis Media, and Havas Group in managerial and directorial capacities. Her most recent positions were with Havas, where she served as regional chief growth officer and CEO of Havas Media Group.

Jacqui’s extensive experience
In the eight years that she presided over, the agency brands within Havas Media Group won the Media Agency of the Year title at a variety of industry award shows, including Marketing Interactive’s Agency of the Year, Campaign’s Agency of the Year, and Hall of Fame. Furthermore, the agency was consistently ranked as Singapore’s top media agency by international research firm RECMA.
