WPP Production India has announced the appointment of Satish Nair as its new Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Karthik Nagarajan, who is stepping down after leading the business for nearly four years.
Nair brings 25 years of industry experience to the position, including 15 years with WPP Production, formerly known as Hogarth. Over the course of his career, he has worked across the UK, global and Indian markets, focusing on production excellence, operational transformation and business growth.
During his earlier tenure with the company, Nair played a pivotal role in strengthening operational capabilities, building scalable production frameworks and managing key global client partnerships, including The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC), Ford and Diageo. Most recently, he served as Global Chief Growth Officer in London before returning to India as Chief Client Officer for APAC, where he led regional growth initiatives and strategic client relationships.
Meanwhile, Karthik Nagarajan will be moving on to pursue new opportunities. He initially joined GroupM as Chief Content Officer for Wavemaker India, where he expanded the company’s content and production capabilities. In 2023, he took over as CEO of Hogarth India, leading business strategy and strengthening client partnerships during his tenure.
Nair’s appointment marks a new leadership chapter for WPP Production India as the company continues to enhance its production capabilities and support clients with integrated, technology-driven creative solutions.
