Omnicom Media Group India Names Rabe Iyer as Chief Media Officer

Omnicom Media Group India has named Rabe Iyer as its Chief Media Officer in the market, beginning immediately. In order to expedite growth for the agency and its clientele, he will assume the hat of a multidisciplinary practitioner and be in charge of coordinating and integrating OMG’s offerings in all areas. He will report to Kartik Sharma, CEO of Omnicom Media Group India, and operate out of the Gurgaon office.

Rabe Iyer appointed as Chief Media Officer at Omnicom Media Group India

Rabe was ShareChat’s previous India lead for agency partnerships. He oversaw partnerships, led sales effectiveness, and assisted in creating revenue streams while he was there. Before that, he was employed by companies like Wavemaker, Motivator (Group M), Reliance Broadcast Network, Publicis Groupe Media, and others in executive leadership positions throughout India, SEA, and MENA. having worked in the media and agency ecosystem for more than 20 years, he will assume the role of a multidisciplinary practitioner in this capacity, coordinating and integrating OMG’s services, capabilities, and products throughout.

Iyer’s previous endeavors

Iyer gained market leadership in just 24 months while serving as Publicis Groupe Media’s country head and PGM representative. He developed shared services and local capabilities. Additionally, he constructed tech stacks to increase line efficiencies. He was able to secure local representation for international brands such as P&G, ICI, Nestle, Coca-Cola Company, Perfetti, Bristol Mayer Squibb, Mead Johnson, Visa, Sara Lee, L’Oreal, and Nokia. Iyer established digital initiatives, consumer immersion programs, branded content syndication, and consulting as additional revenue streams.
