Nissan Appoints Cédric Ratinaud as Global Head of Brand

Nissan has appointed Cédric Ratinaud as its new Global Head of Brand, marking a new leadership responsibility for the long-serving Nissan executive. Ratinaud announced the appointment through a post on LinkedIn.

In his new position, Ratinaud will take on a global mandate focused on shaping Nissan’s brand direction and supporting its evolution across international markets.

“Excited to share that I’m stepping into a new role as Global Head of Brand at Nissan. After many years working across markets, teams and cultures, I’m privileged to take on this new challenge — helping shape the next chapter of the Nissan brand on a global stage. Our industry is changing faster than ever. This is a moment to be bold, to challenge convention and to keep pushing the brand forward,” he wrote in a post.

Prior to the appointment, Ratinaud served as Director, Creative & Campaigns, Global Communications, where he was involved in Nissan’s global creative and campaign initiatives.

Ratinaud has been with Nissan since September 2010, bringing extensive experience of working across markets, teams and cultures during his tenure with the automotive company.

The appointment comes as Nissan continues to navigate a rapidly evolving automotive landscape, with brand building, innovation and global consumer engagement becoming increasingly important to its future growth.
