The goal of this association, unveiled in Berlin, is to monetize around 25 websites under Netpoint Media’s portfolio initially, with plans for ongoing growth.
As per the announcement, the partnership is focused on both desktop-specific advertising spaces and mobile inventory. To boost revenue, MGID will provide support Netpoint Media with customized advertising solutions. These services include carrying out directly sold campaigns, promoting individually branded content, supplying data for content and ad optimization, and internal recirculation for tailored content recommendations on respective websites.
The portfolio of Netpoint Media GmbH comprises verticals with high reach and individually selectable target groups, in addition to local and national news websites. Publishers like Aachener-Zeitung.de, Faktastisch.de, LigaInsider.de, Mannheimer-Morgen.de, Jappy.com, and 50plus.de are specifically included in the partnership with MGID. Netpoint Media has been a part of Audienzz, the NZZ media group’s digital advertising service provider, since 2023. Audienzz markets over 360 premium websites.
MGID’s Managing Director for Germany, Swen Büttner, stated that the company aims to establish enduring and fruitful collaborations with publishers. According to him, MGID wants to provide more options for expanding reach in addition to making money from premium native ads. Büttner highlighted the company’s excitement about collaborating with Netpoint Media, which gives MGID’s clients access to premium websites that are relevant to their target groups, diverse subject areas, and well-known brands.
