McCann Worldgroup India made a strong mark at the D&AD Awards 2025, winning three Pencils and securing multiple shortlists for two socially impactful campaigns—‘Fit My Feet’ for Buckaroo Footwear and ‘Dabba Savings Account’ for ESAF Small Finance Bank.
‘Fit My Feet’ received a Graphite Pencil for Best Impact in Design and two Wood Pencils in Health & Wellbeing (Innovation and Product Design). It was also shortlisted in Inclusive Product Design. The campaign addressed the needs of children born with clubfoot by enabling 4,500 local cobblers to craft affordable, custom flip-flops, resulting in over 228,000 pairs distributed across India.
The ‘Dabba Savings Account’ campaign earned a Wood Pencil in Cultural Experience (Commerce) and was shortlisted in B2C Activation and Inclusive Commerce. Inspired by India’s steel lunchboxes, it featured a hidden compartment to help rural women discreetly build saving habits, leading to 120,000 new bank accounts without traditional media.
