McCann India and The Womb Win Global Grand Effies at 2025 Best of the Best Awards

McCann Worldgroup India and The Womb have secured Global Grand Effies at the 2025 Global Best of the Best Effie Awards, earning global recognition for their campaign effectiveness.

McCann Worldgroup India was awarded in the Finance category for ESAF Small Finance Bank’s ‘Saving Her Savings’, while The Womb won in the Positive Change: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion category for Piramal Finance’s ‘NEEYAT: India’s Real Credit Score’.

The Global Best of the Best Effie Awards bring together campaigns that have already achieved top honours at national and regional Effie competitions, allowing them to compete at a global level. The 2025 edition featured entries from over 55 Effie programmes across 130 markets, including winners of Gold and Grand Effies from 2024.

Effie stated that Global Grand winners are campaigns that have first proven their effectiveness in local markets before being evaluated by global juries. These winners represent the highest level of marketing effectiveness across categories.

From an initial shortlist of 47 Global Grand contenders, 11 winners were selected across seven markets and 11 categories after rigorous judging. Among these winners, one campaign is further recognised with the Iridium Effie as the most effective marketing effort globally.

This year, eos Products and Mischief at No Fixed Address received the Iridium Effie for ‘Women’s Shave’, marking their second consecutive win and recognition as the world’s most effective campaign.

Other Global Grand winners included OREO and Mondelez International with VML for ‘OREO Codes’ in Commerce and Shopper Marketing, Flamin’ Hot and PepsiCo with ISLA for ‘Poker Face’ in Experiential Marketing, and ALDI Australia with BMF Australia for ‘Shop ALDI First’ in Retail.
