LOS YORK has appointed Lisa Zakroff as Partner and Chief Client Officer, strengthening its leadership team as the agency continues to build relationships with global brands.
In her new role, Zakroff will oversee client partnerships across LOS YORK, collaborating with the agency’s strategy, creative, design and production teams to align its integrated capabilities with clients’ business and brand objectives. She will also focus on identifying new opportunities for growth for both LOS YORK and its partners.
“Lisa brings a calming, get-it-done energy to everything she touches. She’s strategic, thoughtful, hands-on, and ambitious—all qualities that are deeply LOS YORK,” said Scott Hidinger, Executive Creative Director and Partner at LOS YORK. “Having worked with her in a past life, I’ve seen first hand how she earns clients’ trust and turns their needs into ambitious creative opportunities. I’m thrilled we’ve found each other again.”
Zakroff joins LOS YORK with two decades of experience managing client relationships for brands such as Volkswagen, Target, Nintendo, Alaska Airlines, Burger King and Hawaiian Airlines. She was recently recognised as a Campaign US 40 Over 40 honouree and most recently served as General Manager at Mekanism, where she led the agency’s West Coast operations.
She also established Mekanism’s Entertainment practice in 2021, creating a platform for brands to collaborate with artists, entertainment properties and popular intellectual property. During her tenure, the practice worked on partnerships involving Netflix, Apple TV+, KATSEYE, Care Bears and Chris Hemsworth’s Wild State, with the work receiving recognition from the Effies, Adweek, The Drum and New York Festivals.
“The role of agencies is changing, and LOS YORK’s design-forward, strategy-through-production model is what I hear brand teams looking for,” said Lisa. “The output speaks for itself. I’m thrilled to join a team that takes immense pride in its craft and encourages brands to commit to ambitious work.”
Earlier in her career, Zakroff was part of Deutsch LA, where she contributed to experiential and integrated campaigns, including a life-size dollhouse installation at Grand Central Terminal and a collaboration between Volkswagen, Target and Funny or Die.
