Mumbai, June 02, 2026 — The Experience Edit today announced its launch as India’s first immersive experience IP company — a venture that isn’t in the business of running events, but building worlds.
Founded by creative and business veterans Khushbu Vaid, Riyaz Sayed, and Sapangeet Rajwant, the company has a single, uncompromising mandate: to conceive, own, and scale original live experience formats that people don’t just attend — they inhabit, feel, and carry with them long after they leave.
A Category That Didn’t Exist in India. Until Now.
The global live experience industry is enormous and growing. What it has consistently lacked is ownership thinking — companies that treat experiences not as productions to deliver, but as IP to build, protect, and scale. The Experience Edit is founded explicitly to fill that gap.
Its formats span large-scale festivals, immersive pop-up worlds, cultural journeys, wellness retreats, intimate gatherings, culinary experiences — and formats not yet named. What binds every property under the company is a non-negotiable standard: immersive, intentional, and impossible to forget.
The distinction from event management is deliberate and foundational. Event companies execute. The Experience Edit originates — creating proprietary formats engineered from day one for portability, cultural resonance, and international scale. Less one-night occasion, more global franchise with a heartbeat.
What the Founders Say
Riyaz Sayed, Co-Founder, “The experience economy is one of the fastest-growing sectors globally, yet ownable IP within it remains almost nonexistent. Most players are focused on delivery. We are focused on ownership. When you build an experience with the discipline of a format, you are not creating an event — you are creating an asset.”
Khushbu Vaid, Co-Founder, “The best experiences don’t feel produced. They feel inevitable — like someone understood exactly what you needed before you did. That is the standard we hold ourselves to. Not ‘did it run smoothly?’ but ‘did it change something in them?’”
Sapangeet Rajwant, Co-Founder, “There is no shortage of events in the world. There is a deep shortage of experiences that truly stay with people. We built The Experience Edit because we believe the world is ready for a new category: experience IPs that originate from India and belong everywhere.”
The Founders
Collectively, the three founders bring expertise across creative direction, live experiences, large-scale production, operations, and business strategy — a combination of creative vision and operational rigour that the company’s model demands. The venture was built on a shared conviction: that audiences worldwide are no longer satisfied with passive participation. They want to be surprised, moved, and marked.
The Timing
Global appetite for immersive and experiential formats — across entertainment, culture, wellness, and lifestyle — is at an inflection point. The Experience Edit launches into that moment with a long-term ambition: to build the world’s most recognised experience IP portfolio, and to build it from India.
