HubSpot Integrates ChatGPT Ads Into Its CRM Platform

Published on: September 17, 2026

HubSpot has introduced an integration with ChatGPT Ads, enabling businesses to create, manage and measure advertising campaigns directly through its CRM platform. The move is designed to reduce complexity for small and medium-sized businesses by bringing advertising activity, customer data and campaign measurement into one environment.

The integration builds on the existing relationship between HubSpot and OpenAI. HubSpot previously became the first CRM to offer a connector for ChatGPT, allowing users to bring customer context into ChatGPT for tasks such as sales pipeline analysis, deal tracking and ticket management.

According to HubSpot, weekly active users of its ChatGPT connector have grown by 250%, with businesses using the tool to analyse sales pipelines, track deals from conversations and resolve customer tickets.

The updated connector expands these capabilities, allowing users to run email campaigns, create advertising landing pages, analyse closed-won deals, optimise for AI search through Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and monitor lead progression within ChatGPT.

HubSpot is now extending this integration into paid AI search through its ChatGPT Ads offering. Businesses can create campaigns, establish budgets and launch ChatGPT Ads alongside their existing advertising channels without having to manage another standalone advertising platform.

“Putting AI to work shouldn’t require businesses to rebuild the way they work,” said Brian Landsman, VP, Global Partnerships at OpenAI. “Connecting ChatGPT with the customer knowledge in HubSpot helps teams do more with what they already know, from creating a campaign to preparing for a customer conversation. Together, we’re making AI more useful and accessible to the businesses that want to grow.”

The integration also uses CRM data to support campaign targeting and ROI measurement. Businesses can connect advertising activity with customer outcomes, including tracing closed deals back to the campaigns that initiated them, helping teams assess performance and make budget decisions.

For companies using HubSpot AEO, the integration brings paid and organic AI search activity together within the same platform. Users can monitor their visibility across answer engines, access recommendations for improving their presence and launch ChatGPT Ads from HubSpot.

Alongside the integration, HubSpot and OpenAI have introduced an AI Growth Bundle aimed at helping SMBs adopt their respective tools. The offer includes HubSpot Starter and HubSpot credits at up to 65% off for one year, along with a buy-one-get-one-free offer on ChatGPT Business seats for one year.

We’ve been working with OpenAI because we share a belief that AI shouldn’t just benefit the biggest companies,” said Duncan Lennox, Chief Product and Technology Officer at HubSpot. “With our HubSpot connector for ChatGPT, new ChatGPT ads integration, and new AI Growth Bundle offer, we’re giving every scaling business a real shot at showing up where buyers are, understanding what’s working, and acting on it quickly. That’s what this partnership is really about.”
