Havas Media Network has announced the Southeast Asia launch of CSA (Consultancy, Science, and Analytics), its dedicated tech, data, and analytics consulting division. As part of this strategic expansion, James McNeely has been named as the Head of CSA for the SEA region.
Backed by over a decade of experience across data, martech, and analytics, McNeely will be leading CSA’s growth trajectory in Southeast Asia—tasked with building advanced capabilities and enhancing client solutions across key markets.
Launched globally in 2023, CSA has already built a presence in 20 markets including the Middle East, Australia, China, and India. The SEA launch reflects Havas’ commitment to embedding deeper data intelligence into its regional offerings.
CSA SEA will deliver a suite of services spanning proprietary tech platforms, data tools, and strategic insight models through its three verticals — CSA Tech, CSA Science, and CSA Consult — aimed at helping brands unlock data-led transformation.
Rana Barua, Group CEO at Havas India, SEA & North Asia, noted the significance of this regional expansion:“Our strategic growth in this region is driven by a bold ambition—to build a future-facing network anchored in strong, differentiated capabilities. With Southeast Asia’s immense potential, CSA’s unique mix of global expertise and local insight puts us in a stronger position to help brands navigate complexity, seize new opportunities, and create lasting impact.”
Pankaj Nayak, CEO of Havas Media Network Singapore and President – SEA at Havas Media, added:“With data and technology increasingly shaping business transformation, CSA empowers us to reimagine how we use data and technology — not just as tools, but as catalysts for meaningful brand growth. I’m excited to partner with James to shape solutions that are agile, insight-led, and built for the future in this high-potential region.”
Sharing his vision, James McNeely said:“I’m excited to lead the growth of CSA across Southeast Asia and support our clients in leveraging the full potential of their data and tech assets. In the months ahead, my focus will be on strengthening local capabilities and partnering closely with businesses to deliver smarter, data-led outcomes that drive measurable impact.”
As digital transformation continues to accelerate across SEA, Havas Media Network’s latest move underscores its goal of helping brands become more data-empowered, tech-enabled, and insight-driven in a complex market environment.
