Google Cloud Names Sashikumar Sreedharan As Managing Director For India

Google Cloud has appointed Sashikumar Sreedharan as the new Managing Director for the country. This leadership transition comes as Bikram Singh Bedi, who previously held the role, shifts focus to drive strategic initiatives across the Asia Pacific region for Google Cloud.

Sreedharan steps into the new role with a wealth of experience and a strong track record in enterprise leadership. Since September 2023, he has served as Chief Operating Officer for Google Cloud’s APAC business, helping guide regional operations during a time of accelerated cloud and AI adoption.

A familiar name in the Indian tech ecosystem, Sreedharan previously led Microsoft India’s enterprise segment as Managing Director and has held key leadership positions at SAP and IBM. His deep understanding of cloud transformation, enterprise growth, and customer-centric innovation positions him well to lead Google Cloud’s next chapter in India.

As Managing Director, Sreedharan will oversee the company’s go-to-market efforts, working closely with customers, partners, and developers to help them build for an AI-first world. His appointment signals Google Cloud’s continued investment in India’s digital economy and its commitment to empowering businesses of all sizes to leverage next-gen technologies.
