Ghazal Maheshwari has joined Madison World as Vice President, transitioning to the agency side after an extensive career in the media and publishing ecosystem.
Maheshwari brings more than 17 years of experience spanning television, sports, entertainment and digital media. She most recently served as Senior Director – LCS Digital Sales at JioHotstar, where she was responsible for digital sales across the FMCG, beverages and alcobev categories.
Announcing her new role on LinkedIn, Maheshwari said, “Same industry. Different side of the table. A whole new perspective. After an incredibly rewarding journey with JioStar, I’m excited to share that I’m joining Madison World as Vice President!”
Prior to JioHotstar, Maheshwari spent more than 13 years with Disney Star, taking on various sales leadership roles across Star Sports and Star Jalsha & Jalsha Movies. During her tenure, she worked on advertising sales for major sports and entertainment properties, including the IPL, ICC World Cup, Premier League and Wimbledon.
Maheshwari began her professional career with Star India in 2009 as a Sales and Marketing Management Trainee. She later joined Altruist Technologies as Assistant Manager – Product before returning to Star.
With her extensive experience across media sales, sports and digital, Maheshwari’s move to Madison World marks a transition to the agency side of the industry, bringing her cross-platform expertise to her new leadership role.
