Dentsu in South Australia has been awarded the Tobacco Cessation & Vaping Control account in partnership with Preventive Health SA. The campaign will run throughout FY26/27 and represents one of the state’s most significant preventative health behaviour change initiatives, aiming to reduce smoking and vaping prevalence across South Australia by encouraging and supporting meaningful behaviour change.
Designed to connect with smokers and vapers in the moments where these behaviours are most likely to occur, the campaign focusses on providing relevant, accessible pathways to quit and supporting long-term behaviour change.
The appointment follows a competitive South Australian Government procurement process and marks dentsu’s first partnership in Tobacco Cessation & Vaping Control account in South Australia after taking over from Wavemaker, who held the contract for over 10 years.
The work was awarded with the support of dentsu’s highly regarded WA government team. Their deep experience and input into supporting this work was instrumental in dentsu being appointment.[ES1]
