Published on: July 30, 2026

Dabur India has promoted Binit Kumar to the role of Head of Marketing for its Health Supplements, Hydration and Baby Care business, expanding his responsibilities after leading the company’s oral care portfolio for nearly four years.

Kumar shared the news of his new role through a LinkedIn post, reflecting on his journey with the oral care business and the transition to his next leadership assignment.

“I now move into my next chapter as Head of Marketing – Health Supplements + Hydration & Baby Care, leaving Oral Care stronger, more contemporary, and more trusted than I found it,” he wrote.

During his tenure in the oral care division, Kumar oversaw marketing for brands including Dabur Red, Meswak, Herb’l Charcoal and Dabur BaeFresh. He highlighted several initiatives that shaped the portfolio, including the evolution of the Chaubey Ji campaign from #SabkoChabaaJaayenge to Chaabaatey Raho, spanning cricket, food and Bollywood. He also pointed to Desh Ke Laal, an Independence Day initiative that later evolved into a year-round purpose-driven platform and podcast, along with the Switch to Fluoride Free positioning and the Indian Dental Association’s endorsement for Dabur Red.

Kumar also reflected on the #BlackForWhite campaign for Dabur Herb’l Charcoal, featuring Darth Vader as the brand’s “Chief Innovation Officer.” He described it as an experiment that drew inspiration from global pop culture while remaining true to the brand’s identity.

In his post, Kumar expressed gratitude to his managers, colleagues, cross-functional teams and agency partners, including Ogilvy, McCann, Dentsu, L&M Worldwide, Disney India Consumer Products and the Indian Dental Association, for their support in building the brands.

Kumar joined Dabur India in April 2022 as DGM Marketing and P&L Owner for the Oral Care business before being elevated to AGM Marketing. Prior to Dabur, he worked at Zydus Wellness, where he managed the foods business, and earlier held marketing and business leadership roles at Coty and Procter & Gamble.
