boAt Lifestyle has appointed Saikat Mukhopadhyay as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), adding an experienced finance professional to its leadership team.
Mukhopadhyay announced his new role through a LinkedIn post. He joins boAt after serving as Group Chief Financial Officer at WheelsEye, a position he held from March 2024 to August 2026.
His previous leadership assignments include serving as Chief Financial Officer at BirlaNu from June 2022 to October 2023 and Chief Financial Officer at Somany Ceramics from January 2018 to June 2022.
Earlier in his career, Mukhopadhyay held the position of Group Financial Controller at CNH Industrial between February 2016 and January 2018. He also served as Chief Financial Officer, Construction Equipment, at Escorts from September 2012 to February 2016.
From February 2008 to September 2012, Mukhopadhyay was associated with Cairn Oil and Gas, where he worked as Head of Finance across Joint Ventures, Business Finance, and Procurement & Supply Chain Management. Before that, he was Vice President, Strategy, at Quippo Oil and Gas Infrastructure from August 2007 to January 2008.
Mukhopadhyay began his career at Tata Steel, where he spent nearly 11 years between August 1996 and July 2007, progressing through multiple positions from Senior Officer to General Manager.
