Beiersdorf has promoted Naveed Shah to the position of Global Head of AdTech & Data, broadening his responsibilities to oversee the company’s worldwide advertising technology, media data, artificial intelligence, and marketing technology initiatives from its global headquarters in Hamburg, Germany.
Shah shared the news through a LinkedIn post, announcing his move from his previous role, where he led AdTech and media data operations across Beiersdorf’s Emerging Markets.
In his new leadership role, he will be responsible for shaping the company’s global strategy across advertising technology, AI, media technology, and data platforms, helping drive Beiersdorf’s ongoing digital transformation across international markets.
Announcing his promotion, Naveed Shah said: “After an incredible journey with Beiersdorf in Emerging Markets, I’m excited to share that I’ve started a new chapter as Global Head of AdTech & Data, based in Hamburg, Germany.”
Reflecting on his previous responsibilities, Shah highlighted the progress made in strengthening the organisation’s marketing technology capabilities across emerging markets.
“Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of working with talented colleagues and partners across Emerging Markets to build and scale our AdTech and media data capabilities. Together, we’ve delivered transformational initiatives across automation, media intelligence, campaign governance, analytics and data platforms.”
He also emphasised that his biggest accomplishment was creating long-term capabilities that support better business outcomes.
“What I’m most proud of isn’t any single project—it’s the opportunity to build products and capabilities that help teams make better decisions, work more efficiently and create lasting value.”
Looking ahead, Shah said his focus will be on expanding Beiersdorf’s next phase of marketing technology innovation on a global scale.
“As I transition into this global role, I’m looking forward to working with teams around the world to shape the next generation of AdTech, data, AI and media technology capabilities across Beiersdorf.”
Shah also thanked Pedro Moretti, Vanessa Littieri da Silva Bentivegna, Arush Babbar, Thorsten Schapmann, and Beatrice Lindvall for their mentorship, support, and trust throughout his career journey.
The leadership move comes as Beiersdorf continues to expand its investments in AI-driven marketing, first-party data, retail media, marketing automation, and advanced analytics across its global business.
With brands including Nivea, Eucerin, La Prairie, Hansaplast, and Coppertone, the company is strengthening its technology capabilities to support more effective, data-driven marketing and improve customer engagement worldwide.
