Angel One Limited has welcomed Rohit Chatter as its new Chief Data Officer (CDO), reinforcing its commitment to AI-driven innovation and customer-focused financial solutions.
With nearly 30 years of experience in AI, data science, analytics, and platform development, Chatter will play a crucial role in accelerating Angel One’s data-driven transformation, strengthening its digital-first approach, and enhancing the overall investing experience.
Before joining Angel One, Chatter served as the Chief Software Architect at Walmart Global Tech, where he led technology strategy, data science, and analytics across U.S. e-commerce and retail operations, pioneering large-scale Generative AI applications.
Previously, as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of InMobi Marketing Cloud, he led global data science and platform engineering teams, driving cloud-based AdTech innovations. His leadership helped scale the Remarketing Platform into a high-margin business across key markets, leveraging big data and automation to achieve multi-million-dollar growth.
At Yahoo India, he held the role of Senior Architect, leading projects in Sponsored Search Analytics, Audience Analytics, Big Data (Hadoop), and Web Analytics. He also held leadership roles in the U.S., including Senior Manager at Talisma, Manager at IPSoft, and Tech Lead at TiVo and Alcatel. His expertise spans large-scale Oracle databases, Unix (Sun Sparc, Linux), Microsoft technologies, and programming languages like Perl, Python, and Java.
Chatter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunications and an MBA in General Management from NMIMS.
