Amit Gupta has stepped down from his role as Managing Director at VML Commerce India, bringing to a close a remarkable 22-year association with the WPP group. He announced his step down news from VML Commerce India through a post on LinkedIn.
Gupta began his journey with WPP in 2003 as the Managing Director of Eperium Business Solutions India. His career saw key milestones, including leading the merger of Eperium with Wunderman Thompson Commerce in 2017. Over the years, Gupta was instrumental in building scalable commerce delivery practices within the organisation.
Earlier in his career, Gupta also worked in the Netherlands as a Senior Software Engineer at Eperium, where he focused on Intershop and SAP-based commerce platforms.
