Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad Advertising Welfare Circle Association (AACA), as part of its 35-year Festival of Advertising, hosted the AACA Media AdVantage Talkshow 2026, bringing together leading media experts to decode the theme “Understanding the Power of Media” across Print, Radio, Television, Outdoor, and Digital.
The session focused on how each medium contributes uniquely, while reinforcing the importance of integrated media strategies for business growth.

Yatish Mehrishi Chief Executive Officer, Radio Mirchi emphasised the need for a balanced media mix in a fragmented ecosystem and cautioned against treating media as a checkbox exercise.

Jayesh Yagnik, Chief Executive Officer, MOMS Outdoor Media Solutions positioned Outdoor as a high-impact, innovation-driven medium, with DOOH enabling measurable ROI and hyper-local targeting.

Moderated by Dr. Santosh ,Patra Associate Professor & Area Leader, Media and Entertainment Management, MICA Ahmedabad, the discussion concluded that effective media planning lies in integration and demand creation, rather than channel dominance.
The event saw participation from Gujarat’s leading advertisers and advertising agencies, making it a significant industry knowledge-sharing platform.
AACA President Manish Gandhi shared that the association, as part of its 35-year milestone, continues to drive industry-focused initiatives including seminars, workshops, and masterclasses. It will also soon launch a Coffee Table Book documenting AACA’s journey and Gujarat’s advertising evolution.
Dr. Kushal Sanghvi, Director at Komerz, was honoured at the event as a leader in digital advertising — one of five industry leaders recognised across media categories at AACA’s 35-year Festival of Advertising. He commented,
“It was special being back in my home state, the state where I began my career and first evangelised digital back in 1997. Over the years, Gujarat’s brands, including Amul, Rasna, Kajaria, Torrent, Arvind Mills, Adani and Cadila, have been instrumental in shaping the digital marketing journey. Today, digital commands over 60% of overall ad spends, and it is brands from Gujarat, including Vini Cosmetics, Astral, Vadilal and Suzlon, that have become some of our industry’s biggest names. It’s wonderful to see this massive adoption.”
