Kwality Wall’s (India) Limited (KWIL) has named Tahir Toloy Tanridagli as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective November 1, 2026, subject to shareholder approval and other required clearances.
Currently based in India and serving on KWIL’s board, Tanridagli has been involved in the company’s transition following the separation of its ice cream business from Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL). In his new role, he will lead KWIL’s India operations and business development, focusing on operational performance and driving its next phase of growth.
Alongside his India leadership responsibilities, Tanridagli serves as President of the METSA region, which covers the Middle East, Türkiye, Africa, Israel and South Asia. He is also a member of The Magnum Ice Cream Company’s (TMICC) Executive Leadership Team. At the regional level, he will contribute to strategic direction, while his day-to-day operational responsibilities will remain centred on KWIL’s India business.
Tanridagli brings more than 20 years of experience in the snacking and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors. His professional background includes leadership roles across food, desserts, beverages, salted snacks, chocolate and ice cream.
Over the course of his career, he has worked with global companies including Kraft Foods–Mondelez and Unilever, taking on leadership assignments across several markets. Before his latest appointment, he served as General Manager, Unilever Ice Cream, with responsibility for the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia and Russia.
During his 12 years at Unilever, Tanridagli also held the position of Vice President – Marketing for the Foods and Refreshment category across the Middle East, Africa and Russia.
His appointment comes as Kwality Wall’s moves into its next stage of development as an independently listed company following the demerger of its ice cream business from HUL.
