Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios have expanded Stuti Ramachandra’s responsibilities, with the executive now overseeing production and post-production for International Originals across Asia-Pacific (APAC), Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), and India.

In her expanded role, Ramachandra will cover key markets including Japan, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, alongside her existing India responsibilities. The appointment strengthens the production leadership structure for Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios as the platforms continue to develop original content across diverse markets.

Ramachandra shared the development through a LinkedIn post, expressing her enthusiasm about working across markets with varied audiences, creative ecosystems and cultural perspectives.

She originally joined Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios in February 2024 as Director and Head of Production & Post Production for International Originals, India. In that position, she was responsible for overseeing production and post-production activities across scripted and unscripted series as well as films.

In August 2026, her designation was expanded to Director and Head of Production & Post Production, International Originals, APAC, ANZ & India, broadening her responsibilities across the wider region.

Before moving to Amazon, Ramachandra spent nearly nine years at Excel Entertainment, where she served as Executive Producer. Her responsibilities included managing feature film production execution, covering areas such as budgeting, team hiring, physical production, post-production and final delivery.

With her expanded remit, Ramachandra brings extensive production experience to a broader regional portfolio spanning multiple entertainment markets and content ecosystems.
