Influencer Hero Acquires Afluencer to Expand Creator Marketing Ecosystem

Published on: July 23, 2026

Influencer Hero, an all-in-one influencer marketing platform built for D2C and e-commerce brands, has acquired Afluencer, a creator marketplace with more than 17,000 registered members, including over 3,500 brands.

The acquisition strengthens Influencer Hero’s position in the creator economy by integrating Afluencer’s marketplace into its growing influencer marketing ecosystem. The combined offering is designed to help brands manage the complete creator marketing journey, from initiating their first influencer collaborations to running large-scale campaigns involving hundreds or even thousands of creators.

By adding Afluencer to its portfolio, Influencer Hero aims to provide a more comprehensive infrastructure that supports brands at every stage of their influencer marketing maturity.

Afluencer will continue to operate as an independent, self-service marketplace where brands can post collaboration opportunities and connect directly with creators. Meanwhile, Influencer Hero will continue to provide advanced capabilities such as creator discovery, automated outreach, relationship management, affiliate tracking, payment processing and campaign management at scale.

“Afluencer built a real community and a brand that creators and marketers trust. That is exactly the kind of foundation you cannot shortcut,” said Peter Nettesheim, Director and Co-Founder of Influencer Hero. “Bringing it into Influencer Hero lets us serve brands at every stage — from their very first creator collaboration to managing thousands of partnerships at scale.”

Founded to simplify creator marketing for modern e-commerce businesses, Influencer Hero has developed a platform that enables brands and agencies to efficiently manage influencer partnerships. Its solution combines creator discovery, AI-powered outreach, influencer CRM, affiliate and discount code tracking, campaign management, content collection and performance reporting within a single platform, helping brands eliminate fragmented workflows across multiple tools.

For existing Afluencer users, the acquisition brings access to Influencer Hero’s broader technology ecosystem and operational resources while maintaining the marketplace experience that has made the platform popular among creators and brands.

The acquisition comes as influencer marketing increasingly shifts toward long-term creator partnerships, affiliate-led strategies and performance-driven campaigns. As brands continue investing in creator programs as a core marketing channel, demand for integrated influencer marketing infrastructure continues to grow.

“Afluencer and Influencer Hero are highly complementary”, added Peter Nettesheim. “Afluencer makes it easier for brands to get started with creators. Influencer Hero helps them scale once creator partnerships become a serious growth channel. Together, we can support that journey from the first collaboration all the way to a fully operational creator program.”

Following the acquisition, Afluencer will continue operating as a standalone platform while benefiting from Influencer Hero’s technology, product capabilities and team.
