Pinkustar Borah has been named Chief Digital & Technology Officer at Unilever International, marking a significant milestone in his career as he takes on his first international assignment after nearly two decades with Unilever. Based in Singapore, Borah will lead the company’s digital and technology agenda for its international business.
Borah shared the news through a LinkedIn post, reflecting on his journey with the organisation. He wrote, “19 years in Hindustan Unilever Ltd – so many different roles – from a factory IT job to heading multiple IT functions – and there’s still so much to learn, explore, and grow into. Which brings me to my first role outside India: Chief Digital & Technology Officer, Unilever International.”
Before stepping into the new role, Borah served as Chief Digital & Information Officer – Personal Care & Customer Experience at Hindustan Unilever. Over the course of his career, which began in 2007 as an IT Executive, he has held a series of leadership positions spanning technology, supply chain, human resources, legal and sales, contributing to the company’s digital transformation across multiple business functions.
His appointment reflects Unilever International’s continued focus on strengthening its digital capabilities while leveraging experienced leadership to drive technology-led innovation across global markets.
