Sidharth Shakdher has stepped down from his position as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Paytm, concluding a tenure of nearly three years with the fintech company.
During his time at Paytm, Shakdher was responsible for leading the company’s brand, media, and consumer marketing initiatives, contributing to its brand-building efforts during an important phase of growth.
Shakdher shared the news of his departure through a LinkedIn post, reflecting on his journey with the company and his experience working on one of India’s leading consumer technology brands.
Commenting on his exit, Shakdher said, “After an incredible journey at Paytm, I’ve decided to move on and begin a new chapter. I’m grateful for the trust, learning and opportunities that came my way during my time here, and for the chance to work with some brilliant teams while building for one of India’s most recognised digital brands.”
Prior to joining Paytm, Shakdher held senior marketing leadership roles across several consumer internet and digital-first businesses, bringing extensive experience in brand strategy and marketing.
His departure comes as Paytm continues to strengthen its leadership structure across key business and marketing functions.
