Dabur Appoints Herjit S Bhalla as CEO, India Business

Dabur has announced the appointment of Herjit S Bhalla as Chief Executive Officer for its India Business, as disclosed in a regulatory filing.

In his new role, Bhalla will report to Mohit Malhotra, Whole-time Director and Global Chief Executive Officer of the company.

“We wish to inform that Mr. Herjit S. Bhalla has joined the Company as “Chief Executive Officer- India Business” in the category of Senior Management Personnel of the Company with effect from Thursday, April 23, 2026. He shall report to Mr. Mohit Malhotra, Whole-time Director and Global Chief Executive Officer of the Company”, the BSE filing stated.

Before joining Dabur, Bhalla held senior leadership roles at The Hershey Company, where he worked in multiple global positions.

With more than 25 years of experience, he has built a strong track record in commercial leadership and general management across international markets. His earlier career includes a long stint at Unilever from 2000 to 2016, where he handled sales and marketing functions and progressed through leadership roles. Between 2009 and 2012, he served as Marketing Director in Moscow, Russia.

He later joined Metro Cash & Carry as Chief Operating Officer during 2016–17, where he was also a member of the Executive Board.

In 2018, Bhalla took on the role of Managing Director for India at Hershey and went on to hold global responsibilities from 2021 onward, including positions such as VP India & AEMEA, VP Canada and AMEA, and most recently VP Canada & Global Customers.

His appointment marks a significant leadership addition as Dabur continues to strengthen its India business operations.
