28 Years at the Helm: A Milestone for Mr. Bipin Pandit

Published on: April 4, 2026

Bipin Pandit, Chief Operating Officer of The Advertising Club (TAC), has officially completed 28 years with the premier industry body. Since joining the organization in 1998, Mr. Pandit has become a central figure in the Indian advertising landscape, overseeing the evolution of some of the country’s most prestigious award properties.

Throughout his tenure, Mr. Pandit has been the steady hand behind major industry benchmarks, including the Effies, Emvies, Marquees, and the Abbys at Goafest. His role has involved guiding the organization through various industry shifts, ensuring these platforms remained a unifying force as the sector moved from traditional media toward the complex digital and adtech ecosystem of today.

For us at Adtech Today, this milestone is a moment to look back with pride. Two years ago, we had the opportunity to honor Mr. Pandit at our event, Emerge, with a Special Tribute. We recognized him then for his vast contributions—a commitment that has only become more evident as he marks this nearly three-decade anniversary.

Alongside his dedicated efforts for the fraternity, Mr. Pandit has also been a passionate chronicler of the industry’s history. His book, Impassioned, captures the lives of several advertising stalwarts, preserving their legacy for the next generation. Furthermore, his musical initiative, Khumaar, has successfully brought the advertising community together for the past 18 years, celebrating the industry’s creative soul.

As he celebrates this anniversary, we congratulate Mr. Pandit on his long-standing service and his continued role in supporting the growth of the Indian advertising community.
