Adobe has appointed Shamik Basu as Vice President for its Creative Products Group in India. Based in Noida, Basu will lead the company’s engineering and product management teams, reporting to Ely Greenfield. He also becomes part of Adobe India’s leadership team, with a focus on driving innovation and accelerating growth in the region.
In his new role, Basu will collaborate with global teams working on flagship products such as Adobe Firefly, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Premiere Pro. His mandate includes strengthening India’s contribution to creative and productivity solutions while supporting global product innovation.
Basu brings over 30 years of experience in building and scaling large software platforms. Prior to joining Adobe, he held leadership roles at Microsoft, where he worked on enhancing performance, reliability, and AI-driven user experiences for global audiences.
